Growing your direct sales team can make the difference between a hobby business and a career business.
We all know WHY we need to grow our team, but so many of us do not know HOW to do it.
Or how to do it in a real, authentic way that doesn't scream "desperation".
We are told over and over to make a list of 200 people, and just start messaging, going for the no.
But the truth is, I never felt comfortable doing that. And I never did do it. Most of the people who became part of my team joined by coming to me. Not the other way around. And they came to me because I practiced relationship marketing. And they liked me, and they trusted me.
Now, don't get me wrong, I am not against the "LIST", I believe you do need to have a list of people you'd love on your team!
I just don't buy into the methods being taught about that list.
Most are told, "Go start telling everyone you know about your opportunity."
The fact is, that when we start MOST of us have no clue what to say! So we regurgitate the same copy/paste messages over and over and wonder why we never find anyone willing or worse, why we keep getting blocked.
Wouldn't it be better to have a STRATEGY and PLAN that makes you feel confident and good about what you are doing, and how you are recruiting?
